White bryony (Bryonia) roots juice 3 quarts; Feverfew (Tanecetum Matricaria /Parthanium) and Rue (Ruta graveolens) 3 pint each; Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) and Thyme (Thymus vulgare) leaves, Savin (Juniperus sabina) leaf tops; Tree of Life, Myrrh (could be Myrrhis odorata) leaf tops, of Savin and Myrrh an ounce and a half; Salt of Tartar 6 drams; Orange peel, the yellow part, 3 ounces; Spirit of wine 1 gallon, Water 4 gallons, both poured upon ingredients. Draw off three gallons.
It puts the Blood and Spirits into Motion, gives relief in Hysteric cases and disorders of the Head, and forwards the Menstrual Discharges.
